I don't know how many of you saw The Botany of Desire on PBS, but it was fabulous. It is based on the book by Michael Pollan.If you missed it, you can watch the full-length program HERE.

I especially like the bonus video called "Like a Florist from 100 years ago".
It features Teresa Sabankaya, a florist in Santa Cruz who sells locally grown cut flowers (not the norm these days). 30 - 60% of her product is actually grown in her own garden. It also features commentary by Amy Stewart (Wicked Plants author and GardenRant blogger). Check it out.



We have the book and meant to watch the show, but it was too long for one sitting (with the kids) so we're going to NetFlix or borrow it from the library.
We'll have to catch the bonus video too! Thanks for letting us know about it!
