Growing Memories Through Gardening

The Heinz Company is sponsoring a contest to recognize how a garden can bring together family members from different generations.

Any adult in the U.S, who wishes to garden with a preschool to high school aged family member and feels that gardening is a great way to build lasting memories can apply to the award. 57 families will win a $500 award package containing all the tools needed to embark on such a gardening adventure.

I do not have any children in school anymore, but my daughter has a beautiful son and I think she would like to do this. I will pass this on to her. Thanks for the information.
