The LA Times or LA Weekly just ran a story this week saying that Forage can no longer accept homegrown food because it's against health code in california.

So no more Foraging in Forage.

I was wondering about the health code considerations. Although I think most gardeners do a great job with their food, I've run into many vegetable gardeners that don't understand why you can't put those handy systemic pesticides on your food if you wait a few days to harvest.

You know, I was wondering about the health code stuff too!! I was thinking that the restaurant would have no idea how that stuff was raised.

Well...it makes sense that they would be prohibited from doing this.

Oh well...it was a nice idea!!
