Did you hear the buzz in the gardening world over the weekend?
Our new gardening series, "Growing A Greener World" launched on Saturday!
The show stars Joe Lamp'l, Patti Moreno and Nathan Lyon.
It is presented by Blue Ridge PBS and airing on Public Television stations across the nation. (Distributed by American Public Television) You can visit our website to find more information on the show. There is even a link to access your local PBS station to see if and when they are airing it in your area.
As the Associate Producer of the show, I can tell you first hand that we have had SO much FUN over the past 6 months filming episodes and can't wait to show you all the wonderful places and gardeners we have discovered. (If you want to hear Joe and I explain what the show is about go HERE)
Our mission with Growing A Greener World is to travel the country telling the story of people, places and organizations that are making a difference in this world through gardening. It is about gardening AND eco-friendly living. You are going to love it!
If you can't find the show listed on your local PBS station, CONTACT THEM and request it. Remember you are the boss with PBS! Be persuasive. We have heard several success stories already from people who pushed until they got it up on their own stations.
But if that does not work, fear not. You can watch the show on our website a few days after each air date.

Whoo-hoo! It's been a long time coming...or at least it feels that way sometimes. Really, what a whirlwind last several months pulling all these pieces together. I can't wait for new episodes, and I'm so thrilled and honored to have been a part of this first fantastic season!
Kudos!! :)

Thanks Robin,
It has been a long time coming. But it is like waiting for Christmas. As a kid it feels like FOREVER, but as an adult it seems to come up so fast.
For me, it has seemed like the launch came on too fast! We have been scrambling for months! LOL

yes, what a ride! I can't believe how many different emotions have been packed into the last 9 months or so. But I must say, overall, I've had more fun, laughed harder, and formed some incredible new relationships with people like Theresa that I hadn't even met in person until late last year.
I love that we are able to provide a meaningful and inspiring message in hopefully a fun and visually exciting format. I will say, we have all worked harder than I think any of us imagined. Our team keeps growing, along with the opportunities and challenges.
Thanks to all for the incredible support we've been getting as we ride this roller coaster. And fasten your seat belts all, the best is yet to come!

Yes! What a roller-coster ride this has been. But what an incredible time we have all had working for the common goal of making a TV show that speaks to the gardener and green-living peeps that we all want to become.
And you are correct. The best is yet to come!

I am truly enjoying the episodes. I watch online because my PBS stations haven't picked it up yet. Hopefully soon!

You and your team must have the best job in the world. I love to garden but, I do not get to travel around doing it. I just keep thinking about how much you are going to get to help people out with your program. I will be sure to follow. I hope that it is a great big hit.
